What is Usenet?

Usenet was developed in the late 1970s as a means to of exchanging messages. Initially, Usenet was intended for discussion groups so that groups of people could discuss various topics. Nowadays, we refer to these discussion groups as text groups. Later, Usenet was expanded to make other types of documents exchangeable, such as photos, video, music and so on. These types of files are referred to as binaries.

Download a newsreader

Search for a NZB file

Find yourself a NZB file of the media you would like to download. A populair sites for NZB sites are: binsearch and nzbindex

Import the NZB file

When you have downloaded the NZB file, import this in your newsreader application. The newsreader will start downloading the media from the NZB file from the TweakNews usenet farm. Most modern newsreaders will automaticly unpack the media.
